OLED Burn-In Prevention

Use moving fullscreen patterns to avoid leaving static content in one place for too long. This tool cannot repair permanent OLED burn-in.

Designed for idle OLED and AMOLED displays. Use low or medium brightness, keep the device powered and stop the pattern before leaving. This is not a repair tool.

Shortcuts: ← → change pattern · H hide controls · Esc exit. The screen can stay awake while running; exit manually or wait for the timer.

Use this tool safely

  1. Use low or medium brightness and supervise the display while the pattern is running.
  2. Choose a short session first. Stop if the device becomes hot or the motion causes discomfort.
  3. Do not run the tool as a “repair” for visible permanent burn-in; it cannot reverse physical wear.
  4. Prefer the manufacturer’s built-in pixel refresh or panel-care process when available.
  5. Prevent future wear with varied content, screen timeout and reduced static high-brightness elements.

Rapid movement, brightness changes and high-contrast patterns may be unsuitable for photosensitive viewers. Exit immediately if you feel unwell.

OLED burn-in prevention FAQ

Can a moving pattern fix permanent OLED burn-in?

No. Permanent burn-in is uneven physical pixel wear. A browser pattern can move content around but cannot restore worn pixels.

How long should the pattern run?

Use short, supervised sessions at low or medium brightness. Follow the device manufacturer’s panel-care guidance and avoid unnecessary all-day use.

What actually reduces burn-in risk?

Moderate brightness, automatic timeout, varied content, hidden or moving static interface elements and built-in pixel maintenance are more useful than relying on one browser pattern.
